Coming soon to your computer: “The Mark of the Beast?”
President Obama is making plans to create and Internet identity for American. Howard Schmidt, the White House coordinator for Cybersecurity said “It’s “the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government” to centralize efforts toward creating an “identity ecosystem” for the Internet”
This new department of the Obama administration will be first to address the issue of Internet identity, even before the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland security.
Obama’s new “National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace” will be drafted and released by this summer. Schmidt said: “We are not talking about a national ID card,” Locke said at the Stanford event. “We are not talking about a government-controlled system. What we are talking about is enhancing online security and privacy, and reducing and perhaps even eliminating the need to memorize a dozen passwords, through creation and use of more trusted digital identities.”
It is possible that a Smart Card of some type or Digital Signature Certificate will be issued to willing participants that will identify a person during financial transactions or other Internet business.
The Government promises that no centralized database will be kept of the information voluntarily given by those who sign up for the new digital signature. As if the government has ever kept any of your personal information private.
Whatever the new Digital Signature becomes, it is for certain that this type of technology will be a part of the new world order brought by the one referred to in the Bible as “The Beast”.
Technology that enables the government to track private citizens in all of their financial and other internet transactions is already possible through pre existent technology. The Bible refers to a time during the seven year Tribulation in which the new world leader will require all the citizens of the earth to take “a mark” that will identify them with the new world wide financial system that will track all activities of every person on earth.
No one will be able to buy or sell anything without this mark. The acceptance of the mark will be to worship the Beast and consign the person to eternal separation from God.
Revelation 13:16-17 “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.“
Revelation 16:2 “So the first angel went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.“
Bottom line: Not a good idea to sign up for any system that allows anyone to track your activities. Then again how exactly could a person carry out any of their online banking, pay their bills online, or use a debit card to pay for the things they need in their life?
It is important to understand that when this new system is put into place by the beast, a person will understand that by agreeing to take this mark, they will be offering their allegiance and worship to this man. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you will not be here when the system is required for all the citizens of earth. Jesus will remove all those who are His, from the earth, before the seven year Tribulation begins.
It is interesting to see that the technology that will make it possible for the beast to unite the whole world under a single financial system is already in place and ready for him to assume control.
