A “Super Typhoon” with winds over 160 miles per hour struck the northern part of Luzon in the Philippines yesterday. The soil in large parts of the southern hemisphere of the world have been drying for nearly ten years. Marked increases in global tectonic plate shifts causing massive earthquakes around the world have increased by over 500 percent in the last 50 years.

In Los Angeles California, a new study has shown that an earthquake in Haiti could mean that similar coastal cities such as Los Angeles are at high risk of deadly Tsunami’s or a Mega Tsunami. When geologists studied the magnitude 7 earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, they discovered the increased risk for Los Angeles and other cities such as Kingston Jamaica and Istanbul Turkey.
An undersea earthquake just off shore in Southern California could trigger a massive underwater landslide, which could in turn cause a massive tsunami to slam into the low lying around Los Angels within just one minute.

Asia’s death toll from the recent rains have grown by each storm that has punished the continent. Last Thursday the death toll rose to 140 and 213,000 people were forced to evacuated their homes. In Vietnam the death toll reached 48 and another 23 remained missing in their latest bout with the disastrous storm.
Even in places where tornados are unheard of such as Northern Arizona where I live, we recently experienced two tornadoes early Wednesday morning October 6th, 2010 that derailed 28 cars from a parked freight train and blew semi-tractor trucks off the highway.

Jesus said that when we begin to see a marked increase in natural disasters, increasing in number and severity, that we should understand that the day of His return for us is near:
Mark 13:8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles…
Mark 13:19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be.
Mark 13:20 And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
Mark 13:26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mark 13:29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near—at the doors!
When the Pharisees began trying to trap Jesus by asking him repeated questions, they asked Jesus to give them “A Sign” of the Last Days, and He told them this:
Matthew 16:1 -3 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, “It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.
Let us be diligent to watch for the signs of the times and acknowledge that there are marked increases in the numbers of natural disasters occurring all over the earth. They are not signs of “Global Warming” but instead are the signs of the return of the Lord of the Universe. Satan has masked the increase of natural disasters by the teaching of Global Warming to get the eyes of people off of the Word of God and onto the words of men. The enemy knows that his time is short on the earth and he has come down with great furry to capture the attention of people away from the soon return of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age (satan) has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
