Here is the latest update from the news conference at Apple concerning the introduction of the iPad 2:
1. The new and improved iPad 2 will be the same price as the old one: $499.00-$829.00
2. 33% thinner than the iPad 1, about the same thickness as the new iPhone 4
3. It will have forward and rear facing camera’s
4. Two new colors: Black and White.
5. Shipping March 11 in the United States, March 25th in other countries.
6. A faster Processor.
7. New Cable for HDMI connection to a High Definition Television.
8. New covers for the iPad with magnetic attachment.
9. A new iOS v4.3 software update that will enable the browser to be much faster.
10. iPad 2 will work on AT and T as well as Verizon.
11. iPad 2 has a more sophisticated $5.00 iMove App for real movie editing capability, to be introduced the same day as iOS 4.3, March 11, 2011.
