John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Jesus reminded us that in this present world we were going to have tribulation. It is a fact of life that there are going to be many, many problems for us. Even when you do your very best and have the most honorable of intentions, things can and will go wrong.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
This is why the Lord so often reminded us that this world is not our home. We are only here for a short time and then we will depart this temporary dwelling for our real home that has been prepared for us in heaven.
James 4:14 ... For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
In your busy and complicated life, you will sometimes loose track of the reality that this life you are living presently is only a small part of your actual eternal existence. Trillions of years in earth time, after you have departed this mortal life here on earth, you will look back upon your present struggles as being absolutely insignificant. They won’t matter then, you will not think of them again past the last breath that you draw while here on earth.
So why worry about anything? Why fear over what you imagine might happen? When you get to tomorrow or the next day and something needs to be taken care of, the Lord will have already been there ahead of you to prepare the way.
There is not a single second of your life that is not already known to Jesus. He has already been there ahead of you and He knows what you need and what to do once the day arrives.
In your daily walk with Jesus, make it a goal to commit all of your cares, worries and concerns to Him. Meditate on the fact that your God is able to do anything and there is nothing that is too hard for Him.
If you need finances, He is your riches. If you need wisdom, all the knowledge of the Universe is contained within Jesus. If you need healing, Your Lord is the one who made you and knows exactly how to heal you. If you are worried and concerned about tomorrow, remember that when tomorrow comes, Jesus will still be standing beside you to help with anything you need.
Give no thought to any care, any longer. Whatever happens to you and your life, Jesus is coming for you very soon. When that day arrives, all of the cares and labors, pains and worries will pass away. With these things in mind, why should we worry about anything?
Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus…
