Evolutionist: Appearance of Intelligent Design an ‘Illusion’

Ever since scientists discovered the appearance of intelligent design in the cell structure of all living things, most biologists have stated that this “appearance of design is simply an illusion”.

Although the structure and functioning of the cell appears to be designed by an intelligence, biologists insist that the cell evolved and was not actually designed.

From the first discovery of DNA by Watson and Crick, scientists have been aware that DNA stores information within itself that contains a four character chemical alphabet. This is the crucial information that a cell requires to transmit, build and assemble the protein molecules that every living cell needs to survive.

This information within the DNA of the cell is a written language that is very similar to the written language of a computer code that directs the function of every computer system. Depending on the arrangement of this chemical alphabet, the DNA molecules relay this information to the cell for building proteins that make life possible.

Atheists and humanists Richard Dawkins has stated that “The machine code of the genes is uncanny computer-like.” The amazing fact is that this computer code of the cell is so sophisticated that it is even more advanced than the human written computer code found in every software program that exists. The founder of Microsoft Bill Gates, has stated that “DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created.”

How many logically thinking intelligent human beings would ever look at the code that is within a computer software program and determine that it is “simply an illusion that this code was designed, and in fact this code actually evolved”. It is preposterous today for any scientists who bases their conclusions on testable facts, to continue to make the statement that the machine code found in the DNA of every cell “is not intelligently designed but simply an illusion”.

The true illusion is that even when self proclaimed intelligent men and women stare in the face of undeniable facts, that by the darkness of their heart they can maintain that facts only appear true but are not. This was the basis of Jesus statement that even though men can see light, they run to the darkness instead.

The actual reason that scientists deny the intelligently designed structure of the cell is that to admit that it is designed, would necessitate an admission that there is a designer who would logically be God. If there is a God who has made the Universe, then all those He created must give an account for their life and what they have done with it. Because men love their sin, they do not want to repent from that sin and turn to the Creator. They therefore deny the existence of God to placate their inner guilt and justify themselves so as to live the life they have chosen.

John 1:1-10 “In the beginning (Time, Space, Matter) was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him (Jesus, The Designer), and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light (Truth) of men. And the light shines in the darkness (denial of God’s existence), and the darkness did not comprehend it… (Jesus) was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and (yet) the world did not know Him.”

1 John 1:5-9, 2:2 “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And He Himself (Jesus) is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.“

There is no amount of scientific fact that will ever cause a human being to admit that there is a God. Only a change in the human heart can cause a person to receive the truth and live a life dictated by that truth. If someday scientists would discover the hand written signature and engraved image of God inside the structure of the cell, they would still not admit that life was created by an intelligent designer, and bow in submission to that creator.

Human beings are experts at making excuses and have been, ever since the first man blamed God for creating the first woman who he said caused him to disobey God. At the end this present world, all human excuses will be eliminated as Jesus appears and every eye will see Him. When Jesus does appear, all will bow their knees to Him and admit that He is Lord of the Heavens and the Earth.

Even though Jesus created the Universe with clear undeniable evidence of design, intelligence, order and balance, men refuse to see because they do not want to see. The true illusion is that men who think themselves so wise by their degrees of education and scientific study, miss the simple truth that there is a God who loves them and desires fervently to have a personal relationship with them.

1 Corinthians 1:18-21 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.”

God has made the wisdom of this world foolishness by the simple message that Jesus died on a Cross to satisfy the justice of God for the sins of every person who has ever been born on the earth. It is only by an intelligent decision of the mind and the repentance of a changed heart that a person can come into a relationship with this great and loving God. At the Great White Throne Judgement described in the Book of Revelation chapter 20, Jesus will hear the excuses of men when they stand before Him and proclaim that “They didn’t know…” He will show them that inside the most basic cell structure of all life, He placed His signature and proof that He alone made all things, so that men are without excuse.
