A second large earthquake was reported today in Tokyo Japan. Similar to the 7.5 quake that shook the Indian Islands, it is rare for two large quakes to happen at the same time. Jesus said when we see an increase in the severity and frequency of earthquakes, that we know His return is near.
Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
Many hundreds of small quakes happen everyday around the world, but there is a marked increase in the number of severe quakes over 6 magnatude that have increased by more than 500 percent in the past 10 years.
Watching for these types of events and realizing that the increase of natural dissasters readies us for Jesus return and causes our hearts to be reminded we are not long for this earth.

TOKYO — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 jolted northern Japan on Sunday, the Japan Meteorological agency said.
The quake, at 12:33 p.m., was also felt in Tokyo.
The focus of the tremor was 25 miles below sea level off the east coast of Fukushima prefecture, on Japan’s main island of Honshu, about 150 miles northeast of Tokyo, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
No tsunami warning was issued and there were no early reports of damage. Earthquakes are common in Japan, one of the world’s most seismically active areas. The country accounts for about 20 percent of the world’s earthquakes of magnitude 6 or greater.
