To Behold The Face of Jesus

It is my greatest and most fervent desire to behold the face of Jesus on that great and glorious day when I see Him face to face. Whether by death or Rapture, when at once I can see the one who died for me.

John wrote that on the day that we see Jesus, we will be “like him”, for we will see him as he is…

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

Oh to be like Jesus and breath the words that he would speak and perform the deeds that he would do. But how to perform them? The constant and ongoing struggle of our life is to put off the old man and put on the new righteousness which comes from Jesus himself.

Though our present struggles and inabilities prevent us from being all that Jesus designed us to be, we do not lose heart for we are confident that very soon we will finally put on that new man that comes from above that will never fade or falter again.
