Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Daily we make a multitude of decisions that effect not only the present day, but the course we will take for the rest of our life. How can a person make decisions that are right and have good results? The Bible promises that those who are the sons and daughters of the Lord will have the Spirit of God to guide and direct their every step.
Even when we think that a recent decision may have not been the correct one, the Spirit of our God transforms our missteps into blessing for us and those around us. To simply abide in Jesus and trust him with all the cares of this life, relying on the Sprit for every decision, every falter, all things, at all times.
Simply by prayer that flows from us a naturally as our breath, in constant conversation and communication with the Lord throughout the day. The Spirit delights in moving us into those places where God’s plan unfolds before us.
When we do not see changes in our schedule, or an interruption by a person uninvited as annoyances and inconveniences, but as appointments made by our Father for us to discover, our days take on new and amazing adventures. Long before any one us breathed our first breath on this earth, the Lord planned a wonderful life for each one of us, full of constant changes and challenges. Each one meant to cause us to grow and learn more of his power and care in our life as His Spirit leads us.
