1 Trillion Euro Bailout for Europe, Signs of Antichrist

The recently announced bailout of Spain and several other european countries who are in a desperate financial crisis, is the next step up the ladder to the introduction of the coming antichrist.

According to the old testament prophecies regarding the coming of the world leader who will emerge during a global financial crisis, that introduction may be just around the corner. This world leader will be seen as a “savior” of the financial catastrophe that the leading countries in Europe have gotten themselves into. He will come at first with a peace plan for Israel and the Arab nations. On the wings of peace, he will exalt himself to the position of God and command the world to worship him. He will be a great military leader who is able to unite the armies of the world together, to fight a combined effort during the “Battle of Armageddon”. This battle will take place north of Jerusalem in the Valley of Megiddo, where many other great battles of history have taken place.

Signs of the Last Days: Arrested for Reading the Bible

Signs of the Last Days: Arrested for Reading the Bible

The video begins with Mark Mackey opening his Bible.

“Good morning, everyone,” he says to a group of 15 onlookers waiting outside the Hemet California Division of Motor Vehicles. “I would like to read a little bit of the word of God this morning.”

The video, shot in February of last year, ends with Mackey’s arrest.

“You can preach on your own property,” an officer from the California Highway Patrol tells Mackey as he leads him away in handcuffs. “Folks, this is what the United States is coming to,” Mackey says to the crowd, who were standing outside waiting for the DMV to open. “You can talk about anything you want, but you can’t talk about the Bible.”

Mackey is a reverend with Calvary Chapel Hemet, a conservative Christian church that practices an “evangelical ministry,” requiring public testimonials and Scripture readings.

Church officials believe Mackey was arrested because of “Christian bigotry.”

The officer who made the arrest disagrees, claiming he arrested Mackey for preaching to a public audience who had no choice but to listen.

“You’re not allowed to preach here,” he told Mackey, “because this is a captive audience.”

Not Everyone Who Says To Me, “Lord” Shall Enter

Not Everyone Who Says To Me, “Lord” Shall Enter

We live during a time in history where there are many who claim to know Jesus. More important than whether or not we know Jesus, does He know us? When Jesus returns to the earth to set up his kingdom that will last for one thousand years, there will me many who call out to him “Lord, Lord”, and Jesus will say to them “I never knew you…”

Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, … And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you…

Does Knowing The Truth Really Make Us Free?

John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Recently on my Facebook page, I have made a fervent appeal to all those who are listed as “Friends”, to come to the aide of a young woman and her newborn son on Bantayan Island in the Philippines. Little “Gerard” was born with a condition called “hydroencephalitus”, or “water on the brain”, that causes pressure to build in the skull, and can cause death or brain damage. If this child can obtain surgery quickly, he can be rescued from death and lead a normal life. For less than $2,500.00 we can obtain the life saving surgery needed for little Gerard.

    Help Save Baby Gerard’s Life

    Help Save Baby Gerard’s Life

Many of you who receive our daily updates on your Amazon Kindle, are aware of our ministry to the poor of Bantayan Island in the Philippines. About one year ago, my wife and I moved permanently to this location from the United States in order to ministry to the needs of these desperate people.

As we have become more acquainted with the dear people in our little village where we live, our lives have become intertwined and knit together day by day.

A young mother next door to our home, has a new baby boy named “Gerard” who was born with a condition called “hydroencephalitus”, or “Water on the Brain”. This condition places pressure on the brain and can cause death or severe brain damage.

If we can obtain surgery for baby Gerard this next week, a “shunt” can be place in his brain that will drain the fluid and release the pressure on his brain. Gerard can then lead a normal life and grown up healthy and strong.

Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

From the beginning of time, God made it clear that it is not good for His people to be alone (Gen. 2:18). God designed us to cooperate. Throughout the Scriptures He speaks of His people as a community that accomplishes more together than separately. God did not create us as isolated individuals, each seeking to achieve our own goals. Rather, the success of our endeavors depends upon our interdependence. This is why He established the Church and released His Holy Spirit to empower the community of believers to spread the gospel. We are to be a kingdom of priests (1 Pet. 2:9).

And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 28:2)

When you walk in fellowship with God, you do not have to ask Him to bless you. He wants to bless you! Just as you enjoy surprising someone you love with unexpected gifts, God delights in giving you His gifts in times and ways that you might never expect. God’s blessings often come in the midst of your everyday life, an encouraging telephone call in the middle of a busy morning or a letter you receive at the end of a hard day. A friend may drop by to help when you are overwhelmed, or you may receive unexpected financial help at a time of need. Often, God’s blessings do not come in spectacular ways but in the ordinary busyness of your life. They come just when you most need an expression of God’s love.

World Financial Markets in Collapse, Preparations for the Antichrist

On Wednesday, the United States stock market plummeted 389 point, or a 3.2% drop in value, after recent news of Europe’s financial crisis was announced. Italy, one of the largest economies in Europe, is also experiencing major debt problems, adding to the list of other European nations in major financial difficulties.

According to experts, Italy has a public debt of over 2.5 Trillion, or 120 percent of their Gross Domestic Product. There is wide spread fear that Italy will also not be able to meet their financial commitments. Greece, Ireland and Portugal have already experienced similar financial problems, thought their economies are much smaller.

Italy is a major player in the European economy because so many different banks hold’s their debt, and because their debt level is so high. All of the combined abilities of banks in Europe, do not have the capacity to bail out Italy from her debt pinnacle , making for a frightening scenario in the future.

Daily Walk: To Have the Ear of God

Daily Walk: To Have the Ear of God

Psalms 41:1-3 Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

To have the ear of God and experience His moving in, and upon your life whenever you have a need. What is is that moves God’s heart and brings Him to our aid? David wrote in Psalm 41 that when we take notice of and consider the poor that are amongst us, the heart of God is stirred to bless our life.

  • The Return of Jesus and the Acceptance of Sin

The Return of Jesus and the Acceptance of Sin

As we approach the return of Jesus for His church, world-wide the acceptance of sin is increasing dramatically. Young people who claim that they love Jesus, yet live together in the same home without being married to each other. Men and women who claim to be Christians, yet live in a homosexual or lesbian relationship.

Rather than offend those who live in these lifestyles, Christians say nothing, hiding behind the phrase “I just love them and accept them the way they are…”

Jesus said that when we accept the sin of a confessing follower of him and say nothing about it, that he will hold us accountable for our indecisiveness.

    The Blessedness of Simplicity

    The Blessedness of Simplicity

After nearly six grueling months in the States, we have finally returned to Bantayan Island where life has taken a soft slumber reminiscent of village life in the Philippines one hundred years ago.

The sale of our home completed, we packed up our few belongings and made the 20-hour journey to our tiny seven by ten mile island atol that is to be our new permanent home. I am writing to you today from our small rental home along the shores of Santa Fe Beach, on Bantayan Island.

Return to Bantayan Island July 7

Return to Bantayan Island July 7

After one of the most stressful and busy six months of our life, our home in the states is finally sold and we are on our way back to the Philippines.

On July 7th we return to Bantayan Island to continue our new ministry to the people of the tiny island that is to be our new home. A waxing American economy has caused all Christian ministries to suffer from donor decline leaving the future of missionaries such as ourselves in uncertain times. We hope and pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of many to help us in our efforts to reach these needy people with everything the Lord has planned for their lives.

Look for a large increase in articles, photos and updates from Bantayan Island and the happenings from this tiny tropical atoll to be forthcoming beginning next week as well as the first part of July. Rob plans on including many hundreds of stunning photo’s from the Philippines and Bantayan island that will amaze our readers with the rare beauty of these 7,200 islands and the amazing 93 million people who inhabit them.

    Bible Prophecy Update

    Bible Prophecy Update

    To our faithful readers:

As you may have noticed over the past few weeks, I have been absent in writing new articles for this web site. My wife and I have sold our home in the United States and are about to depart back to Bantayan Island in the Philippines.

We have been busy packing and making preparations to return to our mission field with the people we have grown to love.

Upon our completion of all the details necessary to make our move to Bantayan Island in the next two weeks, we should arrive in the Philippines the first week of July, 2011. This drastic slowdown in the otherwise very hectic pace we have been at for nearly four months, will allow me to once again write several articles each week as I have done previously.

    Bantayan Island Ministry Update

    Bantayan Island Ministry Update

After four months of praying, waiting, and hoping in the Lord, it is our great privledge to report that our home has sold and is in the final stages of escrow. In order for Marissa and I to be able to make our move to Bantayan Island permanent and be available to minister to the people of the Island, this final step had to take place. Please continue to pray for us as we wait for the final approval and close of the escrow in the next two weeks.

After escrow closes, we will be packing our things in a storage container and heading back to the island.

We appreciate those who have stood with us during this long process and have continued to pray and support us. Your love and encouragement have meant so much to us. The work of ministry would not be possible without your commitment.

Unfortunately, some of our supporters who had been sending in their offerings to help us with the ministry on Bantayan Island have ceased to support us. Perhaps it is the financial difficulties of our economy or that some other problem has prevented their support. We understand that sending support for the Bantayan Island ministry while we are still here in the States may be a difficult concept to grasp. After all, why do we need funds for the people if we are still here in the U.S.? Our hopes were that support would continue to come in while we were back in the States selling our home and finalizing all the details of our move. That way, when we returned to the island we would have a pool of funds to immediately begin to help the people of the island.

    Ministry to Bantayan Island, Update

    Ministry to Bantayan Island, Update

To our friends who pray for and support us financially in our ministry to Bantayan Island, we sincerely thank you for all that you are doing for us on an ongoing basis. Without the continued monthly support of people just like you, it would not be possible for us to return to Bantayan Island in the next few months to continue our ministry to the people who need our help so desperately.

Like many of you, I have been following the events in Japan with great interest and many prayers. The needs of the people on this island community are also great and their suffering is unimaginable. Whenever we see events like these in Japan, it reminds us that there are people all over the world who really need our help. Because of the great amount of news coverage on the major networks, Japan has been receiving a tremendous amount of financial and human aid. We are grateful to the Lord that He has called so many thousands of people around the world to send their help to these people who are worthy of as much assistance as we can give them.

    Jesus Commands Us To Go

    Jesus Commands Us To Go

Jesus has a heart for every person on this planet. He loves the poor fishermen on Bantayan Island in Cebu, Philippines just as much as He loves you. The call that Jesus gave to every one of us is that we should “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel”.

Mark 16:15 And Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Either the Lord told us to stay where we are at, or we should go. If we cannot go, we should equip those who can go so that they can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and thereby make ourselves co-laboreres with the ones we enable to go.

My wife and I have a ministry to the people of Bantayan Island in the Philippines and have already began making Jesus known to theses humble and extremely poor island dwellers. They live on a remote atoll in the Visaya sea, about 10 miles off the coast of Cebu. The island is just 7 by 10 miles, yet has a population of 70,000 souls according to the 2007 census.
