    The Pre-Wrath Rapture

    The Pre-Wrath Rapture

One of the discussions of greatest frequency regarding Bible Prophecy, is that of “When will the Rapture of the Church occur”. Will it be before the 7 year Tribulation Period, in the middle of this time of wrath, or at the end just prior to Jesus physical return to the earth?

Let me say at the onset of this post that the doctrine of the Rapture of the Church, I consider that it is one of the most important foundational doctrines in the Bible. It is important in understanding correctly, the Grace of God, and His lack of will to punish with His wrath, His people along with the rest of the world.

Jesus death on the Cross not only accomplished salvation for all those who believe it, but also a removal of ALL future wrath from God. Make no mistake, the last three and one half years of the seven year tribulation period will be a total and complete outpouring of the Wrath of God upon the world in a way that this earth has not, not ever shall again ecperience. Jesus wrote that this wrath will be so severe that “If those days were not shortened (to three and one half years) No one would survive.

As we examine the text of the Old Testament, we will not find a single instance where the Lord ever poured out His wrath when His people were present.

Beginning with the Flood of Noah, the Lord removed the Gentile Enoch, who had been walking in fellowship with God for 300 years, just prior to the wrath of the great flood. Enoch as a Gentile, being a picture of the Gentile Bride of Jesus, that we believe will be removed from the earth before He begins the time of His wrath during the Great Tribulation.

What is the Purpose of the Great Tribulation? P2

What is the Purpose of the Great Tribulation? P2

Jesus warned the dwellers in Judea that when they see the Abomination of Desolation”a desecrating idol installed in the Holy of Holies of the Temple”to immediately flee to the mountains. The remnant of Israel will find refuge there for three-and-a-half years while God protects them and provides for them. From other passages, we learn that the remnant will flee to Bozrah in the mountains of Edom.

    The Great Tribulation

The Tribulation is often used as a generic term for the entire seven years of the 70th Week of Daniel. However, the Great Tribulation is actually defined as the last half of the week: three-and-a-half, not seven years. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a na-tion even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. – Daniel 12:1

What is the Purpose of the Great Tribulation? P1

What is the purpose of the Great Tribulation? Where do those who are in Judea flee? (Matthew 24:16) Which mountains? What is the prophetic role of Ammon, Moab, and Edom (now known collectively as Jordan)? Where does Jesus return? On the Mount of Olives or in Bozrah?

    Israels Enemies
As we read and watch todays media coverage of world events, its not hard to see Zechariahs prophecy being fulfilled in every newscast: Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. – Zechariah 12:2,3 This article will begin an exploration of some of the less familiar prophecies of the End Times, the Tribulation, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. But first, some background history is needed. Where did Ammon, Moab and Edom come from and what are their prophetic destinies? It appears they escape the rule of the coming world leader (commonly known as the Antichrist):

  • An Early and Later Fulfillment of Prophecy

An Early and Later Fulfillment of Prophecy

With the latest attempts by the Obama administration to make peace in the middle east, those who watch the current events around the world in anticipation of the coming of Jesus become very excited. Whether or not the current effort will be successful at securing a seven year peace treaty as described in the Book of Daniel chapter 9, remains to be seen.
There are many articles on the internet referencing the fact that Obama has shown signs of being either the antichrist himself or like the antichrist. This writer would not go so far to make either of those statements as neither of these possibilities are clear at the present time. No one really knows that a particular aspect of Bible prophecy has been fulfilled until after the fact. We know that in the last days before the seven year tribulation begins, there will be a great move in the middle east similar to the current effort, that will ensue into a seemingly miraculous set of events, finally bringing peace to the decades long struggle.
According to the Bible, part of the peace process will be that Israel will be allowed to rebuild the third temple on the very same site as the former two temples. In order to do this, the muslim world would need to allow the construction of the temple next to the existing dome of the rock. Today no one but a muslim can even approach the temple mount. To allow any Israeli to begin a jewish house of worship next to their revered mosque would be of epic importance. Never the less, we know that when this final seven years do begin, midway into the seven year tribulation, an event will happen that will set into motion the final 21 plagues of the Book of Revelation and bring the return of Jesus to the earth with His church to set up a one thousand year kingdom of righteousness. Then at the three and one half year mark of the seven year peace agreement, a statue of antichrist will be placed in the holy of holies in the new temple and it will come to life. A command will be given to worship the new world ruler as God, who will be the antichrist. Jesus called this event the “Abomination of Desolation in Matthew chapter 24.

  • Signs of Antichrist: Obama Wants a Signed Peace Agreement

Signs of Antichrist: Obama Wants a Signed Peace Agreement

When the time of the seven year tribulation is upon us, there will be a massive move to make peace in Israel. The peace, according to Daniel Chapter 9 will come by a “Covenant”, or agreement between many nations and Israel. The signing of this peace treaty is the opening of the first seal in Revelation Chapter 6, verse 1. Either just before or just after the signing of this peace agreement, Jesus will remove His church from the earth at the event described in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4:16-18. Then after a short three and one-half years of peace, the new world ruler who brought the peace treaty, will have a statue of himself erected in the newly built temple in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount, and proclaim that the world should worship him.
This is the event that Jesus described in Matthew 24:15-22 called “The Abomination of Desolation”. This event will trigger the opening of the second seal in Revelation chapter 6 that will bring war. As the third through seventh seals are opened, the judgments and plagues upon earth grow progressively worse leading into the blowing of the seven trumpets and finally the pouring out of the seven bowls of Jesus wrath upon the earth. In the totality of these twenty-one judgments, nearly two-thirds of the population of the earth will perish. All those who refuse to take the mark of the beast and worship him, but instead chose Jesus Christ, will be beheaded as described in Revelation 20:4. It will be possible to be saved during the last three and one-half years of the Great Tribulation, but it will cost you your life. Important to remember that if a person cannot live for Jesus Christ now before the Great Tribulation begins, they most certainly will not be able to wait until the tribulation begins to die for Jesus Christ. Better to receive Him now while there is still time.

Obama Seeks to be Middle East Peacemaker, Signs of Antichrist?

Rabbis in Israel: “We will know that he is our Messiah who is able to make peace for us and allow us to rebuild our temple…”
Daniel 9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”

    Anne Gearan
WASHINGTON — We’ve been here before and if history is a guide, we’ll be here again. President Barack Obama is aiming for the prize that has eluded many U.S. presidents before him: a deal to form an independent Palestinian state and end six decades of conflict in one of the world’s most volatile regions. Obama will bring the Israeli and Palestinian leaders to Washington next month for a symbolic handshake and the start, yet again, of a new round of peace talks. The ambitious goal: a peace deal inside a year. The talks make good on an Obama campaign promise to confront the festering conflict early in his presidency, instead of deferring the peace broker’s role as former President George W. Bush did.

A New Book by Rob Robinson: ‘Simple Revelation’

A New Book by Rob Robinson: ‘Simple Revelation’

    We live in exciting days!

The Bible describes events that would happen around the world and also in the heavens themselves, that would cause men to tremble and their hearts to fail them over fear of things coming upon the earth. We are privileged to live in these final prophetic days and to see with our own eyes stunning developments that men have longed to understand for countless generations. These astonishing events predicted in the Bible, are now suddenly unfolding right before our eyes. The nations of the world are joining themselves together in an alliance that will be ruled by one man who will capture the hearts and imaginations of people around the world.
Armies rising, financial markets destabilizing and collapsing, religions travailing, all in a prequel to the coming of the “Son of Perdition” to whom the world will marvel after and proclaim, “Who is like unto the beast and who is able to make war with him?” You and I live during a period of time that the Bible describes more than any other era in all of human history. Days that will bring the soon return of the King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords to finally rule over the nations of this hurting and dying planet. All of the Bible is about just one subject: Jesus. Who He is, what He has done, why He created the universe. How His creation fell, and how in His love He came to redeem it. In His ultimate victory, how He will return again to remove from the earth those who love Him, before He brings His final fury. In ultimate finality, Jesus will bring His wrath to this planet for a period of seven final years in which two-thirds of the people of earth will perish in three sets of twenty one judgments.

The Rise of the Central Banks

The Rise of the Central Banks

Normally, when a country expands its money supply, it will offer bonds to other countries. The lending countries will buy the bonds and then the borrowing country will use that money to issue paper currency to the lending banks at a set interest rate. The problem many countries have now is that lending countries are not buying. This puts the borrowing country in a bind. Since slowing the rate of increase of the money supply will invite a recession (a way for the economy to readjust itself back to reality), politicians will want to “boost” the economy by increasing the money supply. With no one buying a country’s debts, the debtor country is reduced to printing money that is backed by nothing. This is called “monetizing the debt.” Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the United State’s central bank, the Federal Reserve, has been accused of gearing up the printing presses. Of course, in these days of electronic funds transfers (EFT), a printing press isn’t even required. A simple computer entry into a balance sheet will suffice. In the last two years, the United States has put $2.5 trillion into the world’s economy.11 Continuing to expand the money supply in such a manner could cause a hyperinflation only seen in recent history in developing nations and post-World War II Germany. (We will visit the topic of hyperinflation and its effects on society in the third and final section of this series.)

Signs of Antichrist: IMF Blueprint for Global Currency

Signs of Antichrist: IMF Blueprint for Global Currency

Authored by Reza Moghadam, director of the IMF’s strategy, policy and review department, it discusses how the IMF sees the International Monetary System evolving after the financial crisis.Which means, in the eyes of the IMF at least, the best way to ensure the stability of the international monetary system (post crisis) is actually by launching a global currency. And that, the IMF says, is largely because sovereigns — as they stand — cannot be trusted to redistribute surplus reserves, or battle their deficits, themselves.
The ongoing buildup of such imbalances, meanwhile, only makes the system increasingly vulnerable to shocks. It’s also a process that’s ultimately unsustainable for all, says the IMF. Or as they put it: The global crisis of 2008/09, for all its costs, has not jeopardized international monetary stability, and the IMS is not on the verge of collapse. That said, the current system has serious imperfections that feed and facilitate policies—of reserves accumulation and reserves creation—that are ultimately unsustainable and, until they are reversed, expose the system to risks and shocks that a reformed system could minimize.

‘The Temple Will Never Be Rebuilt’, Islamist Movement Says

In the eleventh chapter of the Book of Revelation, John is told to take a measuring device and to measure the temple in Jerusalem. He is told to leave the outer court for it has been given to the Gentiles. Today, through the hard work of Dr. Asher Kaufman we know that there is an area just north of the current ‘Dome of the Rock” on the temple mount in Jerusalem, where there is an open area where a new third temple could be rebuilt. If the Temple is constructed on this present site, the Holy of Holies would align perfectly with the Eastern gate. In the previous two temple erected on the temple mount, both were aligned also with the Eastern gate.

  • The Signs of Jesus Return

    The Signs of Jesus Return

The purpose of Bible prophecy is so that we might know that the Bible is not just another book penned by men, but a supernatural document with it’s source from outside time and space. The Bible is unique in that it makes predictions of the future with such detail and precision, that the slightest error would make any one of those prophecies unreliable. In over 2,500 Biblical prophecies, every single minute detail has been completed with precision and accuracy. The odds of any book being able to predict over 2,5o0 events in advance with 100 percent accuracy, is beyond the possibility of chance. The certainty of the fulfillment of these events already predicted and already fulfilled, gives confidence to the remaining 1,000 prophetic predictions that are yet to be fulfilled. If the Bible has been perfectly accurate so far, it is certain that the events spoken of describing the last days before Jesus returns, most certainly will also be fulfilled accurately. The following is a short list of some of those prophetic events already fulfilled, to be fulfilled and in the process of being fulfilled.

This article and the importance of the details of this article, are the reason that I started Bible Prophecy Update. So that you might realize that the Lord of the Universe has a plan that He has been unfolding for thousands of years, and that plan includes His desire to make Himself known to you. As you read, study and become familiar with the events of Bible prophecy, you will realize that the Lord is who He claims to be. That there is a God who is above all creation and who loves every human being equally and with great fervor. When we failed to be what He had created us to be and the defect of sin spread to all human kind, He took it upon Himself to become one of us, and give His life in exchange for all of ours. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on a Roman cross 2,000 years ago, paid the price all of us owed for our own individual and collective sins, forever. If you will place your complete trust in what Jesus has done for you at the Cross, and accept Jesus as your own Savior, you will be cleansed of your total sin and obtain eternal life.

When Jesus returns next, it will not be physically to the earth, but to the atmosphere above earth, from where He will call out of the earth all those who have already come into a personal relationship with Him and have accepted His sacrifice for their sins. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Germany May Give Up The Euro for the Deutschmark Again

Germany May Give Up The Euro for the Deutschmark Again

Or Germany might conclude it made a bad deal in giving up the deutschmark and withdraw from the euro — perhaps forming a currency union with more “responsible” countries, leaving the spendthrifts to fend for themselves. Given the reaction of German voters in local elections after the Greek bailout, Chancellor Angela Merkel may well decide that she has no further latitude for more bailouts financed by understandably unhappy German taxpayers. German withdrawal would not then be fanciful.
These issues unquestionably affect the United States. The euro’s major proponents saw a common currency as indispensable to making “Europe” an alternative “pole” to America in what they envisaged as a multipolar world after the Soviet empire’s collapse. The hidden agenda of “ever closer union,” was not (as Washington was always soothingly assured) to make the EU a better partner of the United States, but to make it a competitor.

Obams’s ‘New International Order” Described at West Point

In a commencement speech to the graduating class at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the president outlined his departure from what Bush had called a “distinctly American internationalism.” Instead, Obama pledged to shape a new “international order” based on diplomacy and engagement. Obama has spoken frequently about creating new alliances, and of attempts to repair the U.S. image abroad after nearly a decade in which Bush’s approach was viewed with suspicion in many quarters. Unlike Bush, who traveled to West Point in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to announce his American-centered approach to security, Obama on Saturday emphasized his belief in the power of those alliances.

    The Coming World Ruler

    The Coming World Ruler

One of the dominant topics among prophecy buffs is the identity of the coming leader whom we call “the Antichrist.” As current events seem to be increasingly drawing us into the threshold of the climactic Biblical scenario, speculations continue. One of the most fundamental passages concerning the end times is the famous “Seventy Weeks” prophecy contained in the last four verses of Daniel 9. The Angel Gabriel interrupts Daniel’s prayer to provide him with what has to be the most astonishing passage in the entire Bible: he predicts the precise day-five centuries in advance-the exact day that the Messiah would present Himself as king!1

In describing an interval between the contiguous group of years of 69 weeks (of years), and the final “70th week,” we notice that the Angel Gabriel declares that the: Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary – Daniel 9:26

Daniel 8:23-26 “And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. “Through his cunning He shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; And he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. He shall even rise against the Prince of princes; But he shall be broken without human means. “And the vision of the evenings and mornings Which was told is true; Therefore seal up the vision, For it refers to many days in the future.” Daniel was thrust into a world that he knew nothing about except for the prophecies given to him here concerning “Many days in the future”. The prophecy of Daniel chapter 8 gives us a description of some of those things that will occur during the time that the antichrist arises as a world ruler shortly after the Rapture of the Church.

    The Debate Over The Antichrist

    The Debate Over The Antichrist

Does the beast of Revelation involve Middle Eastern Muslim nations, is it exclusively European, or is it both? Some say the notion that Islam could play a prominent role in the coming revival of the Roman Empire is impossible, unorthodox, untraditional, the work of “Lone Ranger” type interpretation, and even revisionist.1
The majority of American evangelicals believe that the Antichrist system must be exclusively European, yet this view is changing after the last few years with the rise of Islam.
So, could Islam play a role in the end-times scenario? You might think to yourself—so what? Why should we care? Well, why then did the Almighty give us Daniel and Revelation? Even better still, why did God give us all the Messianic prophesies regarding Jesus’ first coming? Careless followers that missed these ended up without salvation, regardless of whether they sacrificed lambs in the Temple or obeyed the law—when it comes to the issue of Messiah, they missed the most crucial event in history. All for not paying close attention to Bible prophecy.

    The Antichrist Doesn’t Wear Tights

Recently the Christian world has been impacted by a rash of end-times novels and movies offering the same recipe:
    1) The world is in a political and economic crisis; woe is us!
    2) The Middle East is in conflict.
    3) Suddenly all sorts of people are “rap-zapped” and disappear.
    4) Kapoof! Mr. AC himself appears on the scene, dressed in red Spandex tights with horns and a tail, as obvious as a Christmas cracker. Well, I guess he wears an expensive three-piece suit instead of the tights, but you just know he’s got them on underneath.
Mr. AC persecutes post rap-zap believers and requires everyone to get their hand stamped so they can get into Globaland. Finally he proposes his great cure for the world’s ills, which – for reasons totally obscure to a thinking mind – are accepted universally without a moment’s critical thought by anyone.

Behold a Black Horse: Global Inflation

Behold a Black Horse: Global Inflation

The black horseman of the Book of Revelation speaks of a condition wherein a man’s daily wages are so poor, he can barely support himself, much less his family.
For the first time in the history of mankind we are seeing a condition which could fulfill that prophecy: global monetary inflation.
When economic “experts” talk about inflation, they mean a rise in the prices of commodities we buy.
    According to Grolier’s On-line Encyclopedia:
Inflation is a process in which the average level of prices increases at a substantial rate over a considerable period of time. In short, more money is required to buy a given amount of goods and services…1
That definition is incorrect, but it does represent a subtle change the economic establishment has inserted into American thinking.
The definition of inflation in Webster’s 1957 New 20th-Century Unabridged Dictionary of English Language is more accurate:
Inflation: an increase in the amount of currency in circulation, resulting in a relatively sharp and sudden fall in its value and a rise in prices.2
